Hand-Made Sola Flower

 

Sola is a short leguminous tree from Thailand, which grows in rice fields. When removing the bark of the Sola tree a glossy white stalk appears, it is cut into thin slice by the skillful hands of an artisan. These slices are dried and they become the petals of Sola flowers which are made one by one. Once the fibers of the petals have absorbed the fragrance and the pigments, the beautiful Sola flower is complete.

 

About The Material

 

Sola can only be found in the center of South-east Asia, especially in Thailand. It is harvested only once a year in September, the quality and the quantity of the harvest varies each year according to the temperatures and the weather conditions.

 

Project And Creation Of Turning Aroma Incense

 

After much research and tests, we developed a non-alcohol fragrance which matches perfectly with the capillarity of the Sola material. We have also succeeded in creating a composition which would keep the freshness of the sola flower by using a moisturizing component, this is what made our sola flower diffuser looks just like real flowers.
